C O P H Center for the Study of Obesity, Kenya Eddings, M P H Kenya L. Eddings, MPH, Research Associate for the COPH Center for the Study of Obesity, was recently elected to the Arkansas Food Bank Board. Ms. Eddings has an undergraduate degree from Tuskegee University, in Tuskegee, Ala., and a master’s degree in public health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.

“I look forward to helping the Arkansas Food Bank spread the word about its mission and likewise roll up my sleeves and work to assist in reducing the occurrence of hunger and food insecurity in children, adults and seniors near and far,” Ms. Eddings said.

Founded in 1984 by a group of anti-hunger advocates in Little Rock, the Arkansas Food Bank is a partner of the national Feeding America organization. Through local and national partnerships, it acquires, processes and distributes large quantities of food and other resources to pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout Arkansas.
