Tenure Track Faculty Position in Epidemiology
The Department of Epidemiology in the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in epidemiology. Individuals with a research focus in the areas of methodology, molecular or genetic epidemiology are encouraged to apply. Other areas of interest will be considered.
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in epidemiology or in a relevant field with training and experience in epidemiology, a commitment to excellence in teaching and advising graduate students, and a track record of scholarly research including peer-reviewed publications and research funding commensurate with rank. Academic rank will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The position offers opportunities to participate in several research areas, and to collaborate with colleagues form the UAMS Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health Professions, and Pharmacy, and from centers of excellence such as the Stephens Center on Aging and the Arkansas Cancer Research Center. Located in central Arkansas, Little Rock blends high-quality lifestyle, access to arts and cultural activities, and rapid access to a wide variety of year-round outdoor recreational activities.
