The Office of Professional Development and Program Evaluation (OPDPE) is housed within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Public Health.
OPDPE provides independent and objective evaluation and program planning services to institutions of higher education, community-based organizations, state and municipal agencies, school districts, and foundations to assist them in meeting their specific goals and objectives related to education, public health and other human services.

Our approach is collaborative, flexible, and client-centered. We want to support your mission and use evaluation to help you do better work, so that you can get better results for the community you care about.
We offer a full range of program evaluation consulting services, including:
- Data Analysis & Report Writing: Performance reports, including ad hoc, annual, and grant reports.
- Grant Writing Support: Working with teams during the grant proposal stage to define strong program goals, develop measurable outcomes, and write evaluation sections
- Evaluation Design: We collaborate with teams to determine your information needs, then create evaluation designs and data collection methods that are aligned to your objectives, outcomes, and program performance measures
- Tool Development: Develop logic models, theories of change, visual results frameworks, and other evaluation-related tools
- Literature Reviews and other document reviews
- Qualitative Data Collection: Focus groups, interviews, case studies, and program observations
- Quantitative Data Collection: student or client outcomes, surveys, and content assessments
