Overview
The AuD/MPH combined degree program prepares students for clinical practice of audiology as well as public health science and theory. Within the MPH program, students can concentrate their study in one of five public health areas: Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Behavior and Health Education, Health Policy and Management, or Climate, Rural and Global Public Health. This combination of audiology and public health empowers the student to provide effective public health interventions in concert with their audiology practice, thus treating the individual and community. This program prepares students with a multidisciplinary perspective for work in public health agencies, audiology practice, healthcare organizations (public and private), government entities and private industry.
