Master Degree Programs

Through the master degree programs at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health, our expert faculty, cutting-edge research, and hands-on learning experiences will equip you with the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and networks to make a real difference.

Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree prepares students in the art and science of preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting health through organized community outreach. Public health differs from other health programs in that it focuses on large population groups instead of individuals. It emphasizes promoting health and wellness as ultimate goals and prevention over cure. Choose from one of six concentrations.

Master of Health Administration

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program has been preparing students for careers as healthcare administrators for more than thirty years. It is the only CAHME (Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education) – accredited program in Arkansas, and our graduates work in organizations involved in the provision, financing, insuring, and regulation of healthcare. The curriculum is developmentally structured, with each semester’s work building on previous semesters.

Master of Science in Healthcare Data Analytics

The Master of Science in Healthcare Data Analytics (MS HCDA) trains individuals with the cutting-edge analytical, information system, and computational skills necessary to compete in today’s health care market. The changes that have occurred over the past few decades in the health care sector have presented a new demand for a workforce that can leverage electronic data to improve the quality and cost-efficiency of health care. The MS HCDA is the only health care analytics program in Arkansas.
