Master of Public Health in Epidemiology

Overall

The MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology provides students with in-depth training in epidemiologic research and practice. The required curriculum focuses on theory and methods, which are utilized by students in real-world opportunities during the preceptorship and culminating experience project.

This program is supported by the Department of Epidemiology.

Completion of all course requirements, including the two final projects (preceptorship and culminating experience), ensures that graduates have attained the MPH core competencies and the MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology competencies:

Biology Competency Requirement: Students are required to pass all 3 exams or successfully complete the courses prior to or within the first semester of coursework.
