About the Family Tobacco Project

The goal of the Family Tobacco Project research study is to learn more about how to help prevent children from using tobacco or nicotine. We will ask participants’ thoughts about 1) preventing tobacco/nicotine use in children and 2) a tobacco prevention intervention named Smoke-free Kids that helps caregivers/parents who use tobacco/nicotine prevent their children from using tobacco/nicotine. By doing this study, we hope to learn how to update this intervention to help other caregivers/parents who use tobacco prevent their children from using tobacco/nicotine.
This research study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at UAMS.
