Teaching Focus

Dr. Brown teaches courses related to data analytics and healthcare systems to students enrolled in MPH, MS, MHA, and PhD programs.

Research Overview

Dr. Brown’s research uses large-scale databases to understand the impact of policies on healthcare services, with a focus on racial and ethnic disparities in perinatal outcomes. Dr. Brown also conducts research through her work as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Medicaid Innovation in Washington, DC.
