The Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health is proud to be an accredited school of public health by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The Council establishes, monitors, and periodically revises the criteria by which it evaluates public health schools and programs. This accreditation recognizes the quality of our programs and assures students that they will be trained in a manner consistent with the best standards in public health education.
To maintain our accreditation, the College must complete the re-accreditation process every seven years. This process involves: preparation of a thorough self-study report based on CEPH criteria for accreditation and our own self-assessment; a site visit by a team of qualified peer reviewers; and review of our self-study and the site visitor report by CEPH’s Board of Councilors for a final determination about our compliance with accreditation criteria and re-accreditation. The college received re-accreditation in June 2022.
The 2021 self-study report, related tables, CEPH criteria, and the Board of Councilor’s report are available upon request through the Office of Planning and Policy.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the self-study or reaccreditation please send them to the Office of Planning and Policy.
