FAITH Network: The FAITH Network is a collaboration between UAMS and faith organizations in Arkansas to provide an infrastructure that supports faith-based research as well as the delivery of health programs and health education within faith communities across the state.
F R E S H: The F R E S H, Families Rising to Enforce Smoke-free Homes, research study is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Tobacco at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health. This research study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at UAMS.
Home Together: A project to provide homeless and near homeless pregnant women and mothers with young children access to behavioral health services.
NICE: A research study that aims to understand views on and barriers to using nicotine containing smoking cessation products like nicotine replacement therapy and unapproved quit aids like e-cigarettes among African American cigarette smokers.
PRIMROSE: The PeRinatal IMpRovement of Outcomes and Safety for Everyone (PRIMROSE) project addresses critical gaps in data systems, health services availability, and quality of care to improve maternal health outcomes and reduce disparities in Arkansas. PRIMROSE also coordinates the Arkansas Maternal Health Community of Practice and the Arkansas Maternal Health Scorecard.
Project Heal: A research study that aims to understand best ways to implement a Hospital-based Violence Intervention Program to help Black male survivors of violent assault achieve physical, emotional, and social well-being.
UQuit: The UQuit Study is a research study that aims to understand the experience of quitting smoking among menthol cigarette smokers who try to quit without professional assistance.
