What to Expect
In the Regulatory Sciences Certificate courses, you will gain insight into the complexities of the laws, regulations, policies, risk assessments, risk-benefit analyses and risk management processes. You will obtain a working knowledge of regulatory sciences that can foster leadership in regulatory sciences for industry, government and academia. You will graduate from the program with a more competitive background for regulatory science-based careers.
Program Duration
We offer two courses per semester. If you take both each semester, you can complete the certificate in as little as one year. If you choose to take one course each semester, you will complete the program in two years.
When to Start the Program
The program can be started in the fall or the spring. The courses do not have to be taken in a prescribed order, so applicants can apply and start when it is most convenient. See Academic Calendar for when classes begin.
Required Materials
Students must have access to a personal computer with a video camera, speakers, and a microphone, as well as a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Prerequisite Courses
Courses in Biostatistics or Toxicology/Pharmacology are available through the College of Public Health and may be taken online by any student. Relevant professional experience or continuing education will be considered in lieu of prerequisite coursework.
