Dr. Haselow is a board-certified pediatrician and epidemiologist. His interests are primarily in emerging infectious diseases, and he still practices medicine part-time.

Teaching Focus

Dr. Haselow teaches introductory epidemiology and infectious disease epidemiology.

Research Overview

Dr. Haselow’s particular interest and expertise is in outbreak investigation and control, emerging infectious diseases, vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases, food-borne diseases, and tick-borne diseases. He also focuses on gun safety and hunting-related injuries.

Fun Fact

Dr. Haselow was a state epidemiologist for 10 years. In his free time, he is an avid trout fisherman, woodworker, and poker player. Glacier National Park in Montana is his favorite
