Ms. Hale developed and currently teaches the Climate Change and Public Health course. She is a current doctoral student in the UAMS COPH Health Promotion and Prevention Research program.

Teaching Focus
Ms. Hale’s teaching focuses on the intersectionality of climate change, health disparities, and environmental justice, particularly within the southern United States.
Research Overview
Ms. Hale’s focus is on understanding the impact climate change and health has within the US, especially on historically excluded and vulnerable communities. Her work aims to learn from frontline communities already addressing these issues and how health promotion and prevention research can build upon these assets to improve community health outcomes through collaboration.
