Bio:
I am an environmental epidemiologist specializing in heavy metals, with a particular focus on arsenic exposure and its effects on human health. I am trained in inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), which allows me to quantify metal concentrations as low as parts per trillion. I also serve as the lead for data management in the Arkansas Rural Community Health (ARCH) study, where I oversee data organization, quality control, and integrity to ensure robust and reliable analysis. Although I’ve lived across the country, I was born in Arkansas and am deeply committed to using my expertise to support and improve the lives of people in our beautiful state. I firmly believe that ‘low exposure’ is not ‘no exposure’, and my work aims to highlight and address the subtle yet significant difference posed by chronic low-level environmental exposures.
