The Arkansas Public Health Association’s 68th annual educational conference will be held May 11-13 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. “Health Equity: Highest Level of Health for All” is the conference theme. Former US Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, M.D., will be the keynote speaker.
The association will be accepting abstracts for poster presentations until March 15 on topics related to public health in Arkansas. All faculty and students are invited to submit an abstract.
A $1,000 scholarship is being offered by the organization for a student enrolled or planning to be enrolled in a public health program. The deadline is March 16.
