PRIDE-GE Summer Institute in Cardiovascular Genetic Epidemiology Program to Increase Diversity among Individuals in Health-related Research (PRIDE). This is a three-week summer opportunity at the School of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. It is for research-oriented junior-level faculty and post-doctorate trainees from minority groups that are under-represented in the biomedical or health sciences and are United States citizens or permanent residents. Research interests should be compatible with those of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) in the prevention of treatment of heart, lung, blood, and sleep (HLBS) disorders research; health disparities research; or relevant research methodologies and approaches specific to these areas.
