Amanda Lemp, MPH, has taken a position as public policy coordinator with the American Lung Association of the Southeast, working on the Arkansas Tobacco Control Coalition. Ms. Lemp is a 2015 honors graduate of the College of Public Health, earning an MPH with a concentration in Health Behavior and Health Education.
Lisa Alley, MS, a student in the COPH MPH program, presented a poster on lung cancer research, for which she was lead author, at the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) 2015 World Conference on Lung Cancer, September 6-9, in Denver. COPH faculty Rosalind Penney, Ph.D., and Mohammed Orloff, Ph.D., were also authors of the poster abstract.
Ms. Alley is also the lead author on a manuscript submitted to PLOS ONE on non-small cell lung cancer subtypes. Dr. Orloff and Dr. Penney are also authors on the manuscript.
