Public health is a common goal. We all want to live in a world that is safe, healthy and promotes wellness. Public health practitioners establish rules and regulations that promote the achievement of that goal – but what is the legal basis for our authority to do that and to assure that the rules are followed? This short course presents the legal foundation for public health action at the government level.

The course is presented in 7 short video presentations, ranging from 2 to 11 minutes in length. Each video can be accessed by clicking on the title below. A video box will appear on your screen.
